Milkcooling and Electricity consumption

With rising cost of electricity, the cheapest energy is the energy you don't use in the first place.

Reaching the lowest degrees requires more electricity.



Here is another way to present it. It takes less time (electricity) to cool the same quantity fof milk from 25°C to 20°C than from 10°C to 5°C.

Any milk precooler cooler can cool milk. But down to which temperature, that is the real question !

This survey shows that not all milk pre-cooler are equal .... when it comes to efficiency.
